Manali has a number of sights for you to enjoy. Our sightseeing tours make sure you get to see all the spots in the valley that are of interest. Choose from our one day and half day packages:

The One Day Manali -Solang Valley - Rohtang Pass Tour:
Solang ValleyThis tour takes you through the enchanting Solang Valley which offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding snow clad mountain peaks. Solang is transformed into a Ski resort in the winters. We then take you on the scenic Manali - Leh Highway through the meadows of Kothi and Gulaba which is known for its numerous medicinal wild herbs. Further on are the cascading Rahla Falls where we stop for a while. Ascending further we reach the small hamlet of Marrhi with its many Dhabas and Cafes. Get excellent views of the Kullu valley far below and the bare rock faces above. We finally reach our destination the 13,050 ft high Rohtang Pass . You will find snow here almost all year round. After spending your time in the snow we head back to Manali by late afternoon.

The One Day Manali; Jagatsukh Temples; Naggar Castle; Roerich Art Musuem; Dagpo Shedrupling monastery Tour:
This is one of the most scenic drives in the valley and goes along the left bank of the River Beas. En-route you will be treated to glistening, cascading tiny waterfalls off the road, Naggar Castlesparkling streams rushing to join the River Beas. The road by passes a few small hamlets and villages before going through a delightful into an area of dense Deodar and Fir forests , where we stop for awhile for photographs and to experience the calming effects of this spot. All you hear are a few birdcalls and silence. We enter the Naggar village and then drive up to an ancient castle which belonged to the erstwhile Rajahs of Kullu. It is now a hotel owned by the Tourism Department. Within are a small shrine and a museum depicting the lifestyle of the Kullu inhabitants. There is also a beautifully placed Restaurant overlooking the widest part of the Kullu Valley with views of the silvery River Beas meandering towards the plains. From here we head towards the quaint little cottage of the famous Russian painter Nicholas Roerich . It has been transformed into a small museum and a larger one is being built uphill. After viewing the haunting landscape paintings and startlingly life like portraits of famous personalities, we head south towards the newly constructed Dagpo Shedrupling monastery. Neatly built just adjacent to the road it gives you an insight of the lifestyle of Tibetan monks and has intricately painted thankas and gilded images of the Buddha. Return to Manali by evening.

The One day Manali- Manikaran Hot Springs and Gurudwara Tour This full day tour Manikaran Gurudwaratakes you south down the valley to the bustling town of Kullu. En-route you stop over at the Vasihno Temple and later walk around the Angora Rabbit Farm where you get to choose from a variety of different designed shawls at extremely reasonable prices. Further on we stop over at the Kullu Shawls Weaving Industry which produces export quality of locally designed and hand woven shawls and other handicrafts including wall hangings, Kullu caps, Mufflers and Nehru Jackets. After crossing one of the earliest built suspension bridges across the River Beas we enter the charming Parvati Valley. The scenery is breathtaking with thickly wooded hillsides home to small villages with terraced fields. Kasol is a small village now quite popular with foreign tourists. Reaching our final destination - Manikaran, you can visit the old Gurudwara (Sikh Shrine) and the ancient Hindu temples. The water on the banks of the Parvati is so hot that you can easily cook rice and dal in it. This place is also steeped in interesting legends associated with Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati. After having a hot meal here we head back to Manali where we reach by late evening.

The Half Day Manali - Local Town Tour
Today our tour focuses on the important sites close to Manali. We visit the pagoda shaped Hadimba Temple ManaliHadimba Devi Temple built in 1550 A.D . within a dense grove of gigantic Deodar trees which are as old as the temple if not older. The frontage of the temple is lined with the skulls and horns of sacrificial animals namely goats and sheep. We then head downhill and drive through the Old Manali village with its intricately carved wooden dwellings to visit what is considered the only temple in India dedicated to the Rishi Manu the great Hindu law giver - The Manu Maharishi Temple . The exteriors and interiors have been redone with detailed wood carvings and niches that hold figures of gods and goddesses while the roof of the temple is spiral shaped rising above the village rooftops. Leaving this sacred place we drive back to town and crossing the river head to the ancient Vashisht village known for its hot sulphur springs. A couple of temples stand nearby. The waters that flow through the village and contained in two specially built tanks are said to have miraculous healing powers for those suffering from skin ailments and arthritis. You get excellent views of Old Manali village across the River Beas and also get to see the confluence of the Manalsu stream and the Beas.
On the last leg of our tour we head back into town where you visit two Monasteries - one built in the 1960s and the other much later. Both of them house ancient scriptures, beautiful thankas and enormous gilded images of the Buddha. The evening is free to indulge yourself in shopping for local crafts and produce.
